Beau My God, LLC Brand Identity
INTRO
Beau My God started as a podcast when founder Beau Bradley recognized the need for more inclusive and authentic media and public representation.
After consistently ranking as one of the top podcasts by trans men, BMG expanded into a full multimedia production company.

Goals
Support Growth
Provide brand materials that could be used across various platforms and events, aiding in consistency and brand awareness.
Expand the Brand
To create a bold brand identity that celebrates and represents the bright, creative, and diverse LGBTQ+ Community.
Since the podcast branding is pink, the client requested a design without pink to distinguish the LLC from the podcast.
Increase Visibility
Create a distinctive brand for the LGBTQ+ media niche and the broader media industry.
For a queer-owned brand, we wanted to break the mold of societal expectations for how a multimedia company can look.
Research & Strategy
ideation
I brainstormed ideas for the new visual identity, including logo design, color schemes, typography, and imagery.
Queer media production as a niche is relatively small so I expanded my research to include other areas like books and podcasts.
Visual Identity
A Bauhaus-inspired design emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and universality, which aligns with the values of inclusivity and accessibility within the LGBTQ+ community.
Its bold use of color and geometric shapes, innovative spirit, and cultural legacy reflect the LGBTQ+ community's struggle for rights, recognition, and the dismantling of societal norms.
These elements can symbolize the strength, vibrancy, and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community, allowing the brand to communicate its commitment to representation and visibility.
